Shonneye Olamilekan a fast rising nollywood actor, model and producer. Today, January 21st he celebrates as he turns a year older.
According to him, my birthday always gives me a moment of sober reflection to give thanks and glory to almighty God, reminisce on the past and count my blessings.
Shoneye Olamilekan fondly called Papa Show) Is the first child in a family of five and his parents hail from Ogun State (Abeokuta). His a Computer Science graduate of Lagos state Polytechnic.
According to him, acting as been a passion he has been dreaming for in a long time. In life they say opportunity comes with preparation, I was just fortunate to be at the right place at the right time. So I was around where a shoot was going on, they were short of cast, the director sighted me and approached me if I could help them take a role.
Quickly, I obliged because it was what I wanted. After the shoot, I was commended by the casts and crew on the set. This gave me more a morale boost to chase my dream fully, which today I am glad I did. However, that is one moment I would never forget because it changed my life forever.
It pave way for my break out into the industry. Autism produced by Moji Smith was the first movie project I can say was my debut movie. Within few years I was able to produce my own movies and feature in several other blockbuster movies.
Movies I have produced includes, Aiyelomo, Playboys, Ultimatum,Olamiotan, Owo, Idakeji, Okanlawon, Iyawo keji, Kadara Olorun And yet to release project Oba Bi Olorun.
Kadara Olorun was the movie that brought me into limelight. It built my fan base more. Naturally am expensive and many producers sees the value as well. Aside being an actor am a model as well. Brands, Coporate Bodies, Fashion Homes, Face, Products are my niche.
Papa Show also reveals thar commendation from fans and family gave me the zeal to do more. Aside Acting, Influencing and Modelling, he is also into graphics printing and supplies business which is the main source of his income. He has been into the business for years and still counting.
As he celebrates a new year today, his achievements through the years he reveals has been through grace. His aspiration for nollywood is to be a legend and inspire other future stars just like our fathers in the game. Make history and be a source of inspiration for others to do more.
This has motivated him to produced a movie which features the legends in the industry. His new movie Oba Bi Olorun is a star studded movie which will be premiered soon. Ob Bi Olorun directed by Yekini Ibrahim Itele featured the veterans in NOLLYWOOD. Chief Kola Oyewo, Alhaji Kareem Adepoju, Alhaji Yinka Quadri, Muyiwa Ademola, Fathia Balogun and host of others.
His watchword to success is to always believe in yourself, work hard, stay strong, respect everybody, fear no one and give God the praise and in the end, every dreams would come true.
